David L. Dickinson
David L. Dickinson serves as Chairman of the Board and a director. Judge Dickinson is a Georgia native and longtime resident of Forsyth County. He currently serves as a Superior Court Judge for the Bell-Forsyth Judicial Circuit and previously served as Chief State Court Judge for Forsyth County. Prior to serving on the judiciary, he served as an Assistant State Attorney in the 19th Judicial Circuit of Florida and later entered the private practice of law in Cumming, GA with the law firn of Lipscomb, Johnson & Ashway. Judge Dickinson co-founded the law firm of Hamil & Dickinson where his practice focused primarily in the area of commercial litigation and business related matters and later became a partner with the law firm of Miles, Reese & McGoff. Judge Dickinson is a member of the Council of Superior Court Judges, State Bar of Georgia, State Bar of Florida, Forsyth County Bar Association, and the Atlanta Bar Association. In addition, Judge Dickinson is a charter member of the South Forsyth Rotary Club, member and director of Leadership Forsyth, and member of the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta.

Thomas E. Aderhold
Thomas E. Aderhold serves as a director of CBB.
Mr. Aderhold also serves as the president of Aderhold Properties, Inc. and has been involved in the real estate industry for over 35 years. His primary function has been in the management of commercial office buildings, business parks, build-to-suits, and residential apartments in the Atlanta area. More recently, he has been involved in the development and management of historic apartment buildings.

J. Carter Barrett
J. Carter Barrett is the President & CEO of CBB. Mr. Barrett is a native of Augusta, GA, and graduate of the University of Georgia where he received a degree in Finance.  He has 20 years of commercial banking experience and has served the northern Forsyth County market for almost 17 years.  Prior to joining us, he was a Senior Vice President and Senior Lender with Regions Bank, where he began working in September 2004.  From 1990 to 2004, Mr. Barrett was employed by Wachovia Bank, NA where he ultimately rose to the position of Senior Vice President and Forsyth County Executive.  He has extensive market knowledge of the Bank’s target area and a broad range of experience in commercial banking.  Mr. Barrett is the current director, Executive Committee member, and Treasurer of The Cumming—Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, Co-Chairman of Envision 2030 (a year long community visioning effort), immediate past President of the Rotary Club of Lanier/Forsyth, is on the board of directors of The United Way of Forsyth County, and is a director of Northside Hospital Foundation’s Advisory Board.  He was recognized in the Forsyth County News in 2006 as a “Man of Forsyth.”

Michael Gravitt
Michael Gravitt serves as a director of CBB. Mr. Gravitt is the current President of Coltorshaw Development Co., a commercial development company. He is a native of Cumming, GA and was in the U.S. Navy from 1970 to 1976. Michael is a member of the Rotary Club of Forsyth County and is a member of the board of directors for The United Way of Forsyth County. He is a past board member of the Planning and Zoning Board of Forsyth County and the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce.

Jeffrey Lake
Jeffrey Lake serves as a director. Lake has served as Governor, Chairman of the Board, President, Treasurer and Director of the Atlanta Electrical Contractors Association over the past 15 years. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Atlanta Electrical Contractors Association ("AECA") and has served on the AECA Board as President, Treasurer, and Director over the past 15 years. Mr. Lake currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Business Bank and completed the Community Bankers Association of Georgia Bank Directors College in 2004. Mr. Lake served in the U.S. Army and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and Army Commendation Medal. He received an Associate of Arts degree from Alabama Christian College and attended Auburn University majoring in Electrical Engineering.

Joseph Lockwood
Joseph Lockwood is an organizer and serves on the Bank's Board of Advisors. He has owned J.K. Lockwood Construction Company, a commercial construction company located in downtown Alpharetta, for 17 years. Mr. Lockwood also owns a local assisted living facility. He is an active member of Birmingham United Methodist Church where Mr. Lockwood serves on the board of trustees and chairs the building and development committee. Mr. Lockwood was recently elected the first Mayor of the new City of Milton in Fulton County.

Dana B. Miles
Dana B. Miles is an organizer and serves on the Bank's Board of Advisors. Mr. Miles is a business litigation attorney with the law firm of Miles, McGoff & Moore, LLC where he is the Managing Partner. Mr. Miles completed his undergraduate work at Emory University followed by law school at the University of Georgia. His practice has been centered in Cumming and metro Atlanta for the past 26 years, and he is the City Attorney for both Cumming and Dawsonville. Mr. Miles has served on the Rotary Club, the Cumming-Forsyth Chamber of Commerce, the Younger Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Georgia and the University of Georgia Law School Association, and currently serves as the Chairman of the Forsyth County Board of Appeals.

Cindy Jones Mills
Cindy Jones Mills is an organizer and serves on the Bank's Board of Advisors. She is a licensed real estate professional and has worked with Bryan Properties for the past ten years. Previously, she was the general manager of Lanierland Music Park. Ms. Mills is an active member of the Council for Quality Growth and a representative to the Forsyth Advisory Committee. She is currently Vice Chairman of the Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Board, having been appointed to five consecutive terms, and was also its immediate past Chairman. Cindy also represents the Parks and Recreation Board on the Sawnee Mountain Preserve Advisory Board and serves on the Local School Council for North Forsyth High School. Member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where she teaches the 4th/5th grade Sunday School class and has directed the Oak Grove Opry for 20 years. Member of Envision 2030 and Envision Green Forsyth, on the executive committee for the Forsyth County/Cumming Chamber of Commerce, as the public policy chairman. Charter member of the 400 North Rotary Club.

Larry E. Pendley
Larry E. Pendley serves as a director. Mr. Pendley is currently President of The Pendley Corporation and co-owner of Pendley & Pendley Appraisers, a real estate appraisal firm. His company also includes rental and commercial properties. Mr. Pendley is a former director of Lanier Bank & Trust from 1986 to 1998 and is a member of Daves Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Pendley is a lifetime resident of Cumming, GA.

Dennis D. Powell
Dennis D. Powell serves as a director. From 1998 to the present. Mr. Powell is currently owner and managing broker of Powlesland Properties, Inc., a commercial real estate company with a large presence in North Fulton, Forsyth, Dawson, and Hall counties. Dennis was a sales and leasing agent for Bader & Associates, Inc. from 1998 to 2008. Prior to joining Bader & Associates, Mr. Powell started a commercial landscape and design company which he sold in 1998.

Mr. Powell was President Of the North Ga. Cattlemen's Assoc. in 1986-88, Partner in Moto 400 Yamaha/Suzuki/Triumph Dealership, Dawsonville. Mr. Powell graduated from Georgia State University in 1977.

Grant R. Schmeelk
Grant R. Schmeelk is a Senior Vice President and an organizer. Mr. Schmeelk will focus on Construction and Real Estate Lending. He joined Regions Bank in 2001 in the Management Development Program and was named Vice President of Commercial Lending in 2004. Mr. Schmeelk has a BBA in Finance from Valdosta State University and is also a graduate of the RMA East Carolina University Commercial Lending School. He is a Charter Member of the North Forsyth 400 Rotary Club, a founding member of The Lanier Jaycees (2007 President), the 2007 Associate Director of the Cumming Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce; a United Way Small Business Past Campaign Chair, a Past YMCA Capital Campaign Board Member, a Leadership Forsyth Class 2003 Graduate, a Member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and a licensed Realtor in the State of Georgia.

C. Ricky Stowe
C. Ricky Stowe serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Operations Officer and an organizer. Since 2004, Mr. Stowe has been employed at Hamilton State Bank where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He began his banking career at Fulton County Bank (now part of Bank of America) and held the positions of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Forsyth County Bank (now part of Wachovia Bank) from 1977 until 1980 and 1982 until 1986. He also served as: the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Citizens Bank of Ballground (now part of Regions Bank) during 1981, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lanier Bank (now part of BB&T) from 1998 until 2000, Senior Vice President and Risk Manager of Century South Bank of the Carolinas (now part of BB&T) from 2000 until 2001, and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Southern Heritage Bank in Oakwood, Georgia (now part of GB&T) from 2001 until 2004. Mr. Stowe is a native of Cumming, Georgia and a graduate of the Georgia Banking School at the University of Georgia. He is also a graduate of the Georgia Bank Operations School at Kennesaw State University and the Banking School of the South at Louisiana State University.

Charles F. Welch, Jr.
Mr. Welch is a Senior Vice President and a director. He spent eight years in the wealth management and financial planning industry, working for both Merrill Lynch and, most recently, Morgan Keegan. A founding member of the Lanier Jaycees, he is involved in numerous civic organizations. He has served as a past director and executive committee member of the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Forsyth County, and the Rotary Club of Forsyth County where he is also past president. The Forsyth County News recognized him as a “Future Captain of Industry” in 2004. Mr. Welch is a native of Cumming, Georgia, and he currently resides there with his family. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and received his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Georgia State University.

Jim Whitney
Jim Whitney is an organizer and serves on the Bank's Board of Advisors. Dr. Whitney graduated from West Point in 1975 and enrolled in Case Western Reserve Dental School where he graduated in 1981 with a degree in Orthodontics.. Once Dr. Whitney finished his active duty with the U.S. Army in 1989, he moved to Atlanta and stared his Cumming orthodontic practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Orthodontic Association, Georgia Dental Association, Georgia Orthodontic Association, and International College of Dentists. He is also a member of the Schulman Orthodontic Study Club, Hinman Dental Society, and Saint Monica's Medical Mission to Haiti.

Jeff A. Woodman
Jeff A. Woodman serves as a director. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Woodman has built a multi-million dollar business employing over 200 seasonal workers, most of who reside in Forsyth County where over 50% of his business is generated. He has formed a subsidiary of his primary company specializing in upscale insulation products for both commercial and residential use. Along with his business ventures, Mr. Woodman is a member of the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, National Insulation Contractors Exchange, Forsyth County Home Builders Association, and the Forsyth County Rotary Club. He also serves on the Board of Directors of The United Way of Forsyth County and was recognized as one of the "Men of Forsyth" in 2006 by the Forsyth County News.
